APE & Recreation Specialist
Shannon hails from Santa Cruz, CA, and has over 25 years of experience working with youth in recreation and over 10 years working with children and teens in special education. She also holds a BA in English Literature.
Shannon comes to Victory from a specialized Autism program, called Chrysalis, provided by Santa Cruz County Office of Education. She loves to bring fun and recreation to all of her interactions. Shannon especially looks forward to going on adventures in the community with Victory’s students, continuing social and life skills practice in authentic environments.
Shannon and her family now call Milwaukie home, and they like to explore all of the rivers and beauty that Oregon offers. When she is not at Victory, Shannon plans to live happily ever after with her husband and teenage son.
