Art Specialist
Sarah grew up in the Dutch town of Orange City in the northwest corner of Iowa. She graduated from Dordt College with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in music. She has spent over seven years teaching in preschool and elementary classrooms. In addition, she is trained in Applied Behavior Analysis and has been a therapist in home, school, and clinic settings.
Outside of class, Sarah enjoys camping, cooking, reading, and hiking. She has been to every state except Maine and Hawaii, taught in South Korea for four years, and dreams of someday biking across Canada.
Sarah loves being part of the Victory Academy community. She enjoys fostering relationships between students, families, and community members.
