Arlo Powell

Lead Teacher

arlo powellOriginally from Idaho Falls Idaho, Arlo moved to Oregon to attend George Fox University where he received a BS in Education. He worked as a mentor and teacher to children in the foster care system while completing his degree. This is where he first started working with children with autism. After graduating, he taught first grade for two years and then middle school for four years. He was able to work with students who were struggling in school and loves being able to help students rediscover the joy of learning. He is very glad to be on the Victory team and give his students chances to learn in diverse, meaningful, and fun ways.

In his spare time, Arlo loves spending time with his wife and daughter, gardening, playing soccer, and being in nature.
