Front Desk, Substitute & Volunteer
Born and raised in Portland, Chrissy received a BA in Journalism from Fresno State University. Before starting a family, she worked in Logistics for Pope & Talbot. Over the years, she has devoted her time volunteering in her children's classrooms.
Chrissy and her therapy dog, Theo, began classroom visits at Victory in the summer of 2019, where they spent the next 5 years visiting with students and staff. Chrissy is passionate about the value of human-animal interactions and specifically animal-assisted interventions, believing that animals can positively influence our physical, emotional, and psychological lives.
In her free time, Chrissy loves to travel and enjoys hiking, biking, water sports, and a good book.
