Chrissy Caruso

Front Desk, Substitute & Volunteer

chrissy carusoBorn and raised in Portland, Chrissy received a BA in Journalism from Fresno State University. Before starting a family, she worked in Logistics for Pope & Talbot. Over the years, Chrissy has devoted her time volunteering in her children's classrooms.

Soon after adopting Theo, a two year old golden retriever, Chrissy realized his mild, calm temperament was ideal for therapy training. Together they spent a year training in animal-assisted intervention and soon after registered with Pet Partners.

Chrissy and Theo began classroom visits at Victory in the summer of 2019 and have loved interacting with Victory's students ever since.

Chrissy is passionate about the value of human-animal interactions and specifically animal-assisted interventions, believing that animals can positively influence our physical, emotional, and psychological lives.

In her free time, Chrissy loves to spend time with her husband, her two adult children, and of course, Theo! She enjoys hiking, traveling, water sports, and a good book.
