Speech Language Pathologist
Andrea received her undergraduate degree in Theatre/English from Pacific Lutheran University (Go Lutes!) in 2010 and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Edinboro University (now PennWest Edinboro) in 2016. Andrea spent five years working as a speech-language pathologist for the Corvallis School District before joining the Victory team in 2021. She is member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Oregon Speech-Language & Hearing Association (OSHA), and has received the Award for Continuing Education (ACE).
Andrea is passionate about the importance of play to a child's development and allowing students to communicate in a variety of methods. She uses a play-based approach in her sessions and values creating a safe space for all her students. She strives to meet students where they are at and develop a caring, positive relationship with each of them. Additionally, she loves using books, games, and student interests throughout her sessions. She appreciates healthy collaboration and is happy to be a member of the Victory team.
When not at Victory, Andrea can typically be found spending time with her son, Zeke, attending one of her husband's theatrical productions, thinking about finishing writing her novel and her to-be-read pile, and wrangling her Shelties.
