Donate

Every donation, big and small, directly supports Victory's students and programs. Each helps unlock the often overlooked potential of an autistic child and sets him or her on the road towards independence and inclusion. Victory is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax deductible. Thank you for supporting Victory's kids!

Donate online

Please use the Donate box on the right side of the bottom of this page to make a donation. Or, click here. You may charge your gift on your Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover card.

Gifts of stock

Many donors choose to make their gifts in the form of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or other assets that have increased in value. A gift of appreciated securities (held for more than 12 months) may allow the donor to avoid the high cost of capital gains tax, while also receiving a tax deduction for the appreciated security. Making a stock gift is simple. If you would like to find out more, please contact Mapmakers Financial, Victory's stock transfer agent.

Share the Love 2021

The Wilsonville Subaru Team offers Work Experience students varied internships and learning opportunities—including car detailing, sales, and mechanics. Thank you to Wilsonville Subaru for providing these incredible opportunities to practice job skills, to explore different employment scenarios, and to prepare for adulthood.

Victory is deeply grateful to Wilsonville Subaru for recognizing the mutual benefits of this collaborative relationship and for nurturing and supporting Victory’s Work Experience students. In addition, we are thankful to be selected as a 2022-2023 Share the Love Recipient!

Share the Love 2020

share the loveAs part of its program for teens, Victory provides work experience opportunities for students at local businesses, where they learn invaluable job skills and develop their own work preferences. Victory began its partnership with Wilsonville Subaru in April 2018, and since that time, Wilsonville Subaru has embraced Victory’s kids and welcomed them into their business. At Wilsonville Subaru, the students are exposed to all aspects of vehicle production, mechanics, maintenance, care, storage, and sales. Students may work "on the floor", in the warehouse, or in the shop alongside Subaru employees. Students participate in cleaning, moving tires, breaking down boxes, taking and restocking inventory, and scanning in items. Additionally, students have the opportunity to learn through observation in the shop, assisting mechanics as needed.

The incredible staff at Wilsonville Subaru demonstrate on-going compassion and commitment to Victory and the participating work experience students. This year, their support extended into the 2019/2020 Share the Love Event. Victory is humbled by Wilsonville Subaru’s extraordinary efforts on our behalf, as Share the Love raised over $40,000 to support Victory’s specialized programs for children, teens, and young adults affected by Autism. During this time of uncertainty and unknowns, these funds play a critical part in keeping Victory healthy and moving forward. Thank you Wilsonville Subaru!

Victory is incredibly grateful to have been a Share the Love recipient in 2020/2021!

Snapshots of Victory

We are grateful for your generosity and support! We had the privilege of celebrating Victory Academy with over 400 families and friends at Victory’s Annual Auction, Snapshots of Victory. We are incredibly grateful to our amazing community! You made the evening a huge success, raising a record-breaking $610,000 to help fund Victory’s specialized programs and therapies for children, teens, and young adults affected by Autism. Read more here!

Sponsors, Supporters, and Partners

Victory is grateful to all of our generous partners. Your support provides us the opportunity to improve and enrich the lives of children, teens, and young adults affected by Autism.

Community Partners

Community Based Instruction (CBI) is an integral part of Victory’s curriculum and programs. All students participate in weekly or twice-weekly CBI, allowing them to practice and generalize academic and social skills learned in the classroom. For example, during CBI, some of Victory’s elementary-aged students practice staying with the group, finding items in a store, and “testing” their social skills (such as speaking to a cashier). Others learn how to cross the street safely, read prices, identify different brands of products, and locate items in a store. In addition, during CBI, students work on a variety of life skills, including reading maps, balancing a budget, and communicating with store employees and other community members.

In the Work Experience (WE) Program, students gain foundational employment skills through multiple internships. Specifically, students participate in varied job opportunities and receive direct instruction in job-specific tasks. These placements result in both student identified job preferences and transferable job skills.

Victory’s WE Program is designed to prepare students for life after Victory. The Victory Team takes into consideration an individual student’s gifts and challenges, while explicitly teaching skills to ensure optimal outcomes.

Since January 2016, Victory's WE Program has provided transition students a total of 120+ vocational training rotations, lasting from three to eight months at a time. Currently, Victory has partnered over 40 employers in the greater Portland metropolitan area. Some students have even been hired at our community partners for employment after their internships.

Community-Based Instruction (CBI) and Work Experience (WE) are core tenets of the Victory experience. Designed to foster independence, communication, and life skills, CBI and WE take Victory students out into our communities every week.
