Teaching Assistant
Kelly Anne Sharlow, AKA Sharlow, started working at Victory in August, 2015. She was born in New York, but Sharlow has lived in Oregon, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts. She holds a bachelors degree in Sociology and a minor in Exercise and Health Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she also participated on the women's ice hockey team.
Sharlow has worked in a wide range of settings, including public and private schools, camps and in-home care. Sharlow has worked with kids of all ages and backgrounds, as well as with a variety of diagnoses, including Autism, language disorders, and other challenges. Sharlow fell in love with working with children with disabilities at a young age. Her mother is an Adapted Physical Education Teacher and was recently named National APE Teacher of the Year; Sharlow's older sister is a Special Education Teacher, and her older brother is working towards his Masters degree as a BCBA.
In addition to working with kids, Sharlow also enjoys playing sports, including hockey, soccer, and lacrosse, spending time with her dog Murphy, and hiking and camping with her friends and family.
