Julie grew up in Tucson, Arizona. After graduating with a BA in Psychology from the University of Arizona in 2012, Julie has spent the past four years working as a Behavioral Interventionist with children on the Autism Spectrum.
After graduating from the U of A, Julie moved to Melbourne Australia, where she began her career as a behavioral therapist. While there, she worked in both a primary school setting as well as a private center based program. She worked with clients, ages 18 months to 12 years, with various gifts and skill levels.
Since moving back to the states, Julie continued to work with children affected by Autism, both in clinic and home-based settings. Working in-home was a new experience for Julie, as she valued knowing the families in this different way.
In her free time, Julie loves to hang out with her husband, Matt, and their dog, Nelson.
