Lead Teacher
Brand new to the city of Portland, Danielle was born and raised in the inland area of Los Angeles. In 2012, Danielle received her BA in psychology from Loyola Marymount University and began working for the Lovaas Institute as a behavioral instructor soon after graduation. In her nearly three years at the Institute, Danielle worked with a wide range of children diagnosed on the Autism spectrum. When asked what she loves about her job, Danielle feels that it is an honor to be able to find a connection and build a relationship with her students and their families. She wants to continue to be a vector for progress and independence in her students' lives. Danielle plans to return to school to receive her masters degree and further her knowledge in her current field of work.
On her days off, Danielle enjoys playing soccer, bouldering, and reading books. She looks forward to meeting new people and exploring Portland with her dog, Moji.
