Britnee is thrilled to begin the 2019-2020 school year with Victory and could not be more thankful for this incredible community that has welcomed her with such open arms.
While her admiration for psychology and special education began early in high school, Britnee went on to pursue an art career and earned a BA in Studio Art with an emphasis in Costume Design. After college, she worked as a designer creating costumes for various Portland theaters, a makeup artist for a local artistry studio, and sought out freelance gigs on the side.
In 2017, Britnee accepted her first job in the behavioral therapy field where she went on to not only work as an ABA therapist, but she also took on the role of art coordinator where she was able to merge both her passions. In this position, Britnee provided ABA services and planned art projects tailored to each individual’s abilities and interests. There is nothing that has made her happier than being able to incorporate her background in art and design with behavioral therapy. Britnee hopes to continue spreading her love of art here at Victory.
When she’s not teaching, you can find Britnee thrifting at her favorite vintage shops, picnicking on the beach, seeing a new band, or camping in the woods. Some of her hobbies include horseback riding, sewing, and eating.
