Bridget arrives at Victory after working for the Beaverton School District for 14 years at Aloha High School. While at Aloha, Bridget served as a Social Communication Specialist and Department Chair. She is passionate about providing quality services to children and teens with Autism and is thrilled to be joining Victory this fall.
Originally from Ohio, Bridget attended college at the University of Oregon, where she earned a BFA in Art Education. Upon graduation, Bridget transitioned to Seattle and cooked professionally for several years. Upon moving to Portland in 2001, Bridget managed two young men at her restaurant; this was her first introduction to working with adults with disabilities and the catalyst for returning to school at Portland State for her Master's in Special Education.
When she is not teaching, Bridget spends time cooking, gardening with her husband, and hanging out with her dog and two cats. She also enjoy reading, dancing, singing, and adventuring in nature.
