Occupational Therapist and Adaptive PE Teacher
Carrie Thomas, Occupational Therapist, joined the Victory Team in April 2011. At Victory, she works individually with students, teaches Adaptive PE classes, coordinates Victory's partnership with Special Olympics, and teaches all kids fine and gross skills. Carrie grew up in Bellevue Washington and graduated from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.
Carrie lives in Tualatin, Oregon with her husband and two sons and enjoys playing in the outdoors with her kids, reading, skiing, and gardening. She entered into the field of occupational therapy because she loves working with children and holds a deep interest for the workings of the body and the medical world.
When asked what she enjoys the most about Victory, Carrie replied, "I love how wonderful the staff is with the children. They are the most patient people I have ever worked with, and it is amazing to watch them at work with the students."
